Wed. Oct 3: Clear and hot. I husked corn in the fore noon. Willie and I. H. were helping after noon. Willie went home. I dug potatoes in the after noon. Dick drew corn for part of the day. Latter part drew corn stalks.

Thu. Oct 4: Cloudy part of the day. I. H. S. and E.M. Dick drew corn stalks in the fore noon. after noon put up sale bills.
Wed Oct 10th clear and warm we husked corn in the fore noon. I dug potatoes the boys drew in the after noon
 
  
Thu Oct 11th clear and hot in the midle of the day. a Sharp frost last night the first for this Season

Fri. Oct 5: Clear and hot. I husked corn. Dick went for a load of calves in the fore noon. He brought after noon. Took D. W. and his son to get home and took a load of wood to Croton.
Fri Oct 12th clear part of the day and hot we huskd in the fore noon Will and I dug potatoes in the after noon
 
Sat Oct 13th clear part of the day and hot we husked in the fore noon Will and I dug potatoes in the after noon the boys drew corn fore part of the day latter went to Florence
 
  
Sun Oct 14th clear and warm John cousins and St Anrs Watson was here to day.

Mon Oct 15th clear and hot. Willie and I husked corn Dick was putting up Sale bills.

Tue Oct 16th drisling rain in the morning the rest of the day cloudy high wind from the North and co Dick and Willie drew wood to Croton. I sawed it wood in the forenoon. after noon wrote letter to {Barcelonia?} Book and Catharine Brock.

Sat. Oct 26: Clear most of the day and warm. I was settling up with those that bought at the sale yesterday.
