Marj. and I both got up early this morning and had breakfast at seven o'clock I did all the chores by lantern light and struck out for Lindsay's bridge about half past seven. The sun was juts rising as I walked up the road and I have seldom seen a prettier sunrise. The sun itself only appeared for a nfew minutes and then disappeared a dull lustreless crimson globe, behind dense clouds, but the sky above this cloud was beai=itifully and delicately timted and against this floated several graceful clouds long and yet not mere sytreaks. There was. afine sort of half mu=ist & half drizzle at this time and it was cetainly not. apromising looking sun rise.
