I didn't do any thing much but chores to-day as I felt tough with a cold. My chest is sore with coughing I went down to the corner this after noon and got the cream can as I forgot it yesterday when I drove by. I stopped in at the Lampkin's for a few minutes on my way. The roads are frozen hard and the Gurney's were hauling gravel. Harry B was in bed with a cold on Monday & Tuesday but seems better now but the rest of us are getting it. Cold west wind and cloudy

Frank walked over this morning to see how we were and I was mighty glad he did as after I had done a few of the chores I felt about all in my chest was so sore. Frank got some wood for us and did up some of the chores and then about eleven o clock he and Marj. drove down town while I minded the kids They got back about three, and Frank did up the night chores before he went home so I didn't go out at all. Marj. went to the doctor's and got a lot of dope for each of us including the baby. They brought a cabelgram from Mr. Parks, that came last night, saying he expected a decision about Wednesday next. The longer it goes the more uncertain it seems. Fine day, not so cold.
