into Mac's chair when Bob. came in. It was about half past four when I got through so I didn't waste much time doing Christmas shopping as I was afraid they might be needing me at home. Frank's idea in having me go before dinner was so I could get back early, as he wanted to go to town this after noon. However when I got home every thing was all right and Frank had the house all slicked up in fair shape and as they all decided down town that the Christmas party should be postponed from to-morrow to Saturday on Marj's account, Frank wasn't so much concerned whether he got to town or not.

Frank stayed to tea and washed up the dishes to-night. Charlie Shand came down for a while to see hoe Marj. was. Dr. Cook was out this after noon to see her as Aunty that if he happened to be out this way he wouls droip oin and as she said she might casll ay the office to-night to see, he happened out this way on purpose. He told Marj. to us eher own judgement and going to the paerty to-morrow, he said he wouldn't forbid it because he thought it was s a terrible ting to be responsible for keeping anyone away from a Christmas dinner but she was to do what she thought best, so she had decided that there wouldbe no Christmas dinner for her ans was very relieved and delighted to hear it had been postponed.
