The party broke up soon after four. Dad. took the town ones down in the bobs and we got home just before dark. It has been a nipping cold day but sunny and our fires were all right so the house was good and warm. The kids were all asleep when we got home and we laid them out on different beds. Harry B slept till it was time to put him to bed. Dad. had another cable from Mr. Parks <s>saying</s> asking for Marj's & my official marriage certificate and they sent to Ade Millman to get it, so that looks as if Harry B. was mixed up in the proceedings, but we had a very merry Christmas in spite of lighter hopes. We all got very pretty little calendars from Mr. & Mrs. Parks. |
