Dick is going to cable Mr. Parks to-night saying that Dad. is willing to meet him in New York when ever he comes. He doesn't seem to consider that I should have any oats coming to me for the part I took in the harvesting of them although I pitched every sheaf of them and helped thrash them. I didn't put it up to him but hoped he would see it. He seems to think it all right for Dad. to supply me out of his share in spite of the fact that Dad. has let me have about $200.00 this year and that according to their agreement Frank was to stand crop expenses. Mrs. Lampkin was over this afternoon and invited us all over for New Year's dinner.
