Ina worked like a nailer all day and has the house shining from one end to the other. I went down town before dinner and got some feed @ Bill Laings and some coal oil. I had dinner at Aunty's and was in at the farm for about an hour. Dick is not home yet. They expect him to-morrow to go with Dad. to New York on Friday. I drove Ina home to-night and spent the evening trying to balance my last years books. As near as I can make out the farm went about $60.00 in the hole if I deduct interest on money invested. Of course I am in the hole a good deal more than that, but that is couning living expenses. Gay was sick at her stomach to-night just like Harry B. mild. |
