few chores, by the time I got back here after taking the waggon home, it was dark. I took the old harrows over to John Evans for him to sharpen them. Dad. & Enah drove in about four with a bundle of clothes they were taking out to the Doves, who evidently will not lack for plumage.

Saturday March 20th

We all went to town again to-day and had dinner at Aunty's. Quint was there and had his new clock on the sideboard which he has been building for the last few weeks ~ clock not sideboard. It is walnut and certainly is a beauty. Marj. had to go to the dentists this after noon and Quint and I went up and got Aunty's mail stopping in for awhile to visit Mr. McLean in his workshop.
