We woke up this mornng to fmd every thing coated ticj with ice and a cold rain falling gorming more. It has rained all day but turned a little milder during the day and most of the ice has disappeared. I couldn't do any thing outdorrs but chores so helped Marj. in he house and did some painting in the kitchen. The storm my=ust have delayed the cars as we got no mail to-day. We both jave had colds.

time. Roy couldn't let me have eggs as he is saving for himself but he called up Clarence Welsh and found I could get them there. Cloudy & cold. Froze & snowed last night.
