Cold north wind all day & freezing hard to-night. |

| + | This has been a fine day and fairly sunny but the wind has been cold. I spent the fore noon doing chores and writing this up and then Harry B and I burned off the grass in the little orchard, it was just in good shape to make a clean job of it. I spent most of the after noon asleep. | ||

I brought my chop home around by the Charlie McQueen road which is in bad shape and then took the waggon back, and found that Harry B had decided to come home, so I brought him and his "trunk". Tim. wanted him to stay over Sunday but evidently seeing Gay & the baby yesterday & seeing us all go off and leave him had made him a little homesick. We stopped in at the Lampkins and got our butter, which she had put up in 5:1 lb. five one lb prints, which we considered was pretty good for the little cow and as we have used a lot of milk. The kids are happy & quarelling again once more.
