I went bck with Dad. & brought Queen bome. Dad. didn't have a bite to eat as he said he couldn't eat with his teeth out any way I had a couple of sandwichs. I walked back to band practicd to-night. Mid has to be away for awhile now settling up Minnie's affairs so they propose getting Ernie {Knight?} down for leader if he will come. There have been a chapter o=f sad happenings lately. Tomm Reynold's little 3 yeard old daughter sat in a pail of scalding water & was so badly burned that she died. Alan law's sister die dof heart failure leaving five children adn to-day came that Holbe's daughter who was married last fall, her husband and a friend were killed when a train struck theiur car. Sunny but bitter north woind all day Freezing to-nigjt.
