Mr. Parks said also that they ha dgone doen to Wales to try to dig up more evidnece concerning Mrs. Dick's miscariage but had been unsuccessful. The doctor down there said he ahd not been called in until after the London doctor had arrived which was a day or two later than the child's birth. He also said that Mrs. Dick had called at the office to see Washborough while Mr. Parks was away and said it would be to his advantage to hear what she had to say but when she heard that they were down in Wales, she was furious, but Mr. Whatley is going to impress on her the unpleasantness of publicity if she kicks up much fuss |
