Mr. Parks said also that they ha dgone doen to Wales to try to dig up more evidnece concerning Mrs. Dick\'s miscariage but had been un successful. The docote down there said he ahd not ba=een calle din until after the London doctor had arrived which was a day or two later than the child's birth. He also said that Mrs. Dick ha dcalled at the office to see Washborough while Mr. parks was away and dsaid it would be to his advantage to hear what she had to say but when she heard that they were down in Wales, she was furious, but Mr. Whatley is going to impress on her the unpleastantness of publicity if she kicks up mych fuss

I finished ploughing the corn stubble to-day and rolled down to-days ploughing. It was a hard job turning over the red clay along the road and on the side hill next the lane, in fact I didn't turn much of it but merely rooted it up. It was hard work for poor old Belle and I had a hard job making her walk in the furrow.
