Wednesday May 12th
I harrowed and rolled the field to-day but didn't get any more than that done to it. Old Belle seems lamer and slower than ever and I couldn't seem to get away to-day. I hoed the raspberries sat noon that I set out last fall, the ground was very hard around them. I quit work about five and helped Marj. enlarge the chick's run. To-day the case was to come up again but we don't look for news till to-morrow. Fine & warm.
