Sunday May 16th

Marj. wanted me to go to church this morning but as the cows have got through the be=arbed wire that I pur up in the gully the last two days, I had to go down and take it down so that they couldget in the lower end of the gully with out going over or through barbed wire and cuttingn themselves, and so couoldn't go to church but as it turned out such a beautifukl warm day Marj. decided as he & Harry B would go so I got Queen ready and off they went after I had cut Harry B's backhair. While ther=y were gone I cut some of the lawn, shaved and frd the baby and was just about to light the fire for dinner when marj. H.B. & Glad Law came back Marj. had cooke dup late loyts of provisions yesterday so was keen for company to help eatnit, and SAunty 7 Aunty Alice couldn't come so as they are havinbg Dad. & Enah down there to dinner celebrating their 20th wedding aniversary so Marj. went up after church and got Glad. to come. Just after dinner Mid Thompson and Essie B. came I drove out in Minnie's car and after a littlevisit and looking at the chickens Essie proosed going for. arive so we allpiled into the car and Mid drove us up the road to the Provincial Highway
