I called in home and Dad. showed me a letter from Mr. Parks which came to-day but which didn't explain the cable he sent on the 4th at all. He said he had been searching the files of the Public Record's Office for the Lord Justice's decision concerning the conversion question made years ago, he said this decision was binding on Justice Romer as it had been made by a higher court. |

over in Dave's flats, she had evidently crawled through the fence as the staples were all out of it, but I could not drive her back that way so had to bring her home around by the road. Mabel send word over to-night with some of the kids that she would come over and stay with Marj. to-night if I was going to band practice but she had to take her car home first so she walked up after tea. I was pretty late but walked down through the fields and we had a good practice. I took the drill back first thing this morning as Frank told me last night that he had 2 acres of the back field ready for it. I took it up there and Dad. was there with the team having just brought the seed back. When I got home I ran the ditches in the pea ground and then started to plough the side hill facing the school house. It works up like a garden all but the red clay nubs of the hills and they are pretty waxy. I cleaned out the ditches in the pea ground after dinner so only got in about an hour's ploughing this after noon. Ina was here to-day and Marj. drove her home to-night. Warm.
