it and wrote a card to Frank Reid to say I wouldn't need to get any from him. It looks as though this fortume was gradually fading from our ken. They finished the argument on June 2nd butthe judge has reserved his decision fir a week or so which looks as if he was not at all convinced that Dad's claim was good. Wednesday 9th Frank came over this morning before I finished marking out the corn ground amnd started planting and we fginished about four o'clock. Thursday 10th May. Marj. and I went down on the after noon and signed the mortgage at Gibsns and Charlie Quanbury met us there with the mney. I soent the rest of the agfter noon paying debts.
