We had a couple of delays this morning first by Pickford coming after his milk and then Billy Mills who came to get the drill. By the time we got the team hooked up and our apples over to Charlie's it was nearly noon. Frank rode on down town to get Bill Laings to put me up some chicken feed and we went down to-night and got a bag of it in the buggy while I was milking. This after noon we shook out the rest of the alfalfa and had a look at the oats. They are grown fast to the ground and Frank thinks he won't try to haul them. We separated the ram lambs and put them in | We had a couple of delays this morning first by Pickford coming after his milk and then Billy Mills who came to get the drill. interest. Quint came back to get me and I went down & interviewed him I didn't know what to do about it but he said there was a long article in a Hamilton paper so that if they are going to print it anyway they might as well have the facts. It was Capt. Ralph Smith and he was very decent. After he left Frank and I shook out alfalfa till chore time. It is soaked through and just about ruined. I went to bed right after tea after taking a hot drink in an endeavor to break up a cold which I feel coming on. Frank went down to Pickfords Fine and quite warm, wind still in the west.
