The mail came while I was here and there were letters from Dad. & Enah written on the boat and sent ashore with the pilot at Father Point. I went back out home and although it was four o'clock when I got there I cut my alfalfa. It took me till dusk and I didn't get back here till after dark. Frank had every thing done but milking. He left as soon as he helped me separate so I had tea in solitary grandeur but he had provided a good one for me. Fine and cool. |
