Frank and I went fdown in the waggon this afternoon fire-noon and got my chicken crates and some oat chop. This after noon I walked ove rhome while Frank did housework. We had a fierce time with the roan heifer of Elgitha's that lost her calf. Full description of the event in Dad's diaru, whcih I have kept up-to-date, neglecting this one.

Friday September 17th
