| + | Frank and George put up the stove pipe on the inside kitchen stove this morning and I went over to Martin's to borrow the snips for tyhem. I went fown to Quanbury's to hear the fight returns. Tunney wpon on points without a know=cck out. Just 10 rounds. We hooked up to haul alfalfa rthis after noon but had to put the team back on account of rain. I had to strip part way and wade for the cown to-night. | ||

Thursday September 23rd
Too wet to do any thing to-day. Frank and George went up to Simcoe Fair in the rain this after noon but I went to sleep instead. They rented a Ford car up there for $10 till after Sunday. Intended going down to Dr. McLaclan's to hear the Dempsey-Tunney fight come over the radio but it poured rain so we stayed home.
