Tuesday October 5th

We all spent the forenoon washing dishes and cleaning up the house and this after noon I wrote to Marj. and went down town to post it. Herb Law was over to-night and spent the evening Rain

Wednesday October 6th

We started at the corn to-day, got some pulled but didn't take the team out. Field very wet. Cloudy & drizzly.

Thursday October 7th

Frank hauled down a small load of corn on the waggon box with side boards and George & I cut road and pulled more. It is a very poor crop and large patches drowned out. We all went down to see Sid Goodwin to-night but there was no one home. We went on down to Huby's but they had callers so we went from there down to Aunties but they were just going to bed so we came home. Cool and cloudy.
