got back there was a card in the mail from Marj. saying she wanted mouse-ear for the kids as there was Whooping cough in Haliburton, so I had to ride Tim's wheel out home to get it. Ray rode over just before I left to say poor old Belle was in a hole out there and couldn't get out, so George walked out and shot her. I hated to have it done but it was the only thing to do. I rode down town and posted the mouse-ear to Marj. and then came home and milked as Frank & George were down with the corn till after dark. Lea Marshall and Mr. Triepey as stock-salesman were in and delayed me for some time selling stock in the new comany Hamilton Doirgs. Fine and mild.
