| + | I left here at nine a.m. telling Marj. I would be back for dinner. I intended going over home, getting the team and going down after a load of coal but I found the boys were using the team to haul corn stalks so I walked down town and got some things and came back to the farm for dinner. After dinner we all went back to bring the cattle up from the gully but we found them looking quite contented on the north hill from which the snow had gone so we left them there. | ||

and rolled over but the second time he went through between the barb & top wire and lit on his back. He seemed dazed for a minute but was up and away before George could get to him & hold him down. When he got up to the barns we got him with two of the cows into Sid's horse stable & Frank went over to Herb Law's and borrowed a rope which we put on him and finally got him home and tied up in the shed, but it was nearly noon. Tim was here with his dog & gun and the three boys went home to-gether. This afternoon we all went to town much to Aunty Alice's disapproval as it turned out a horrible afternoon. Marj. went up town with Gay and got her some rubbers for her birthday and I went over home and had a shave. I forgot and left my razor there when we moved so hadn't shaved all week. We got home soon after dark and I did chores before tea

Nothing of import happened to-day. It was a nasty raw day with occasional snow flurries but not cold. The baby and I went over to Mrs. Lampkin's for a while this afternoon.
