Spent forenoon putting in two broken panes in storm windows. Frank & George came over about noon & had dinner and cut a door in the west end of the shed to make a sheep pen of it, as Frank wants to buy some ewe lambs of Ham Thompson's and wants me to winter them as they have no room over rhere.

Wednesday November 24th

Spent most of the day working at the new chicken pen but didn't get a great deal done, owing to interruption such as taking the cream to the corner and going after it and putting the unused siding that was on the veranda and getting spoiled by the kids up in the attic. Soft all day but raw & cloudy. Freezing to-night.

Thursday November 25th

We all went down and had dinner at Auntie's to-day and Marj. spent the after noon visiting and shopping I got my hair cut. We left Harry B down there for a few days. Dad. & Enah went down before tea to stay all night as they are leaving for Courtright to-morrow morning to spend the week-end. Froze hard last night, fine & milder.

Friday November 26th

I killed a couple of chickens this morning for to-morrows dinner and then drove over to the farm where I got the team and waggon and got Frank to go with me down town and get some 2 x 4's for the chicken house joists a cider barrel at the canning factory and Marj's congoleum at Sid Butlers and the bed at Frank Taylor's besides some stuff from the stores. It was about one oclock when we got back to the farm and pouring rain. Frank got off there but I came right out here with the stuff, put the team in had my dinner and about four o clock went back with the waggon and brought the buggy home with Queen. It was after dark when I got here and had been pouring rain all after noon. Bob. who went back to the farm yesterday morning came back out here of his own accord this after noon, followed me back to the farm again and then back out here. Ina here all day & staying all night.
