over to the farm to get my cider and as the roads were so hard I thought it a good chance to go down and get a load of coal. Dad. went down with me. The boys were thrashing at Pickfords. It was just noon when we got down town so we put the team in Aunty's barn & had dinner there. Dad & I walked up town to get some things right after dinner and then went after the coal.

It was four o'clock by the time I got it and the cider unloaded out here, and then had to take the team back & walk home. Edna Quanbury was in to see Marj. this after noon and Mr. & Mrs. Shand & Flossie were al down rto-night and spent the evening. The election results were a fgrand & glorious surpris eto me and I think some sort of surprise to everyone. H=Jack was reurned woith over 1300 majority, the government returned woth more seats than it ha dbefore, with most of the grits that ran on a G.C. tockey elected all the cainet but omne back. Nickle defeated and old Raney back with 44 maj.
