in the chicken pen and have it nearly finished. I was delayed a little by having to help build a snowman for Harry B. but he carried lumber for me so evened things up. Ina was here all day and walked home with Mabel to-night. I spent the evening painting two of Hall's show cards. Cloudy & mild.
Saturday December 11th I spent part of forenoon painting a show card for Hall and the rest of it laying floor in the chicken pen. I have it to the point where the next board that goes on will have to be cut for the studs. This after noon I drove down town first going up to Shands and collecting my thirty dollars school house wages. I took Hall his cards with which he seemed satisfied and gave me $1.50 for the three. I took it out in trade. Called in home and got a bag of wheat. Snowed, colder.
