I went over to Herb Law's this morning to telephone to town and find out when Harry Dyer's funeral was but Herb wasn't at home so I walked up to Harvey Evan's and Mrs. Evans called up and found it was at 1.30 to-morrow. I came home by way of the Lampkin's. Dave had Reg. helping him cut some wood and it was noon by the time I got home. I got a little more done to the calf pen this after noon, put hinges on the door and made a gate for the inside opening. Much milder & sunny to-day. Will Ryerse died yesterday of pneumomia & Walt Dimming from a stroke. | I went over to Herb Law's this morning to telephone to town and find out when Harry Dyer's funeral was but Herb wasn't at home so I walked up to Harvey Evan's and Mrs. Evans called up and found it was at 1.30 to-morrow. Sunday January 16th
It was another very cold night but has not been so frosty to-day. The wind went a little to the west and has been very raw and it has been cloudy all day. We were late getting up and I puttered around at the chores most of the forenoon. Marj. Harry B and Gay went over to Sunday school at 3 o'clock and I stayed here with the baby. I got her to sleep so I wrote to Dorrie. The sunday school was a fizzle as Mabel. Mr. Evans & Flossie & Charlie were the only others there. Flossie & Charlie came down here for tea and spent the evening.
