up first thing as it would be nasty handling if it got covered up with snow. We did that and I helped them and used Doc & Queen. We got all there was piled up before dinner and I stayed there and had dinner but came home right after to feed the chickens. It began to storm about noon and was very blustery and blizzardy while I was going down after the coal but it was not cold, and by the time I came home it was almost raining. | up first thing as it would be nasty handling if it got covered up with snow. I stopped in at Aunty's & said good-bye to Walter who is leaving to-night for Toronto. Roy & Vernon are going down too but expect to be back next week. I also called in at the farm on my way home and got a bag of potatoes. I couldn't get chestnut coal but got a load of stove. It was four o'clock when I got home here and by the time I got the load off and back to Dave's with the waggon and hauled up a chunk of elm which they had split up this afternoon and back home it was dark. I was tired to-night. | ||
