Tuesday, April 23, 1872
day milder in the morning, went round the head of the island over to Aldrain's point and reached snowing heavily-had to quit and came home
Monday, April 28th,1879 day mild and warm, steamer passed and called, leaving off Mr.Nixon, brought graindrill & Wilson purchased the have give up my agency as no hope appears of going anything this spring,received Books & Copies of trees, but no trees have as yet arrived
Tuesday, April 29th,1879 out for a walk today, and had no idea of my own weakness until I got back, I really feel much nearer "the end" than ever before, Nelly does not visit me, perhaps she is waiting my comming!
Saturday, May 10th, 1879 have had a poor time for last ten days suffering much, and extremly weak,still able to be up daily, they told me health would come with warm May weather, but I see no prospect of it as yet, of course the month has been cold and backward, and it's true the last week has been pleasant, but my internal economy seems more confused than ever can I ever get well?
