Sunday 10th a very fine Day Rained in the Evening

11th William came I crofsed to P O Bought 1 plug of AJ Baker 5 cents Got a Ride acrofs from J Grants Team Going with saw Logs took over 2 Tennets of AJ Bakers to the Cooper Bought of Mr Crippin 1 lb Tea 1 1/2 for 40 cents other the cheap 130 sent some sweetmeats to the children Gave me some nuts for them Paul Jo's house Burnt this morning stopt at Donald Super had a Treat on Credit Got an Order from Mr Crippin to Get a Barrel of D McRae's But there was none Got a Ride acrofs from Hugh Grant and McQuaig {Cuaig} stopt at Summers's had a Treat not paid Met Jim Hopkins On the Road helped us with the Logs as we were near upsetting Heard Mr Kimball Departed a very fine man when out on the Lake a Fishing Got a Budget from Charlie Mr John Craig Drawing his Grain from Jacobs Island
