3rd of April First Gathering of sap after being Tapt since Last Thursday no Gathering till to Day 2 Cranes and a Flock of Ducks Going West the cranes seems Bewildered or Lost  Gordon and I to the Bush Gave them the Rigging for the Bush Chains hooks Trammels 2 Barrells to Day 2 Pails Hammer

4th First Fire made in the Bush to Day Got the cloth strainer had 109 Trees tapt tapping more to Day Mr Crippin Came got 10 Dollars Cash settled all up Let me an order for 24..69 cents after  settling all up which was Due me gave him a Load 1500 he said that what was in it to Day Got 1/2 Gallon 1 pint for our share of Mollasses 15 pails Gathered yesterday this made paid Henery 30 cetns for Potatoes I Got
