Easter Sunday very stormy snowing Blowing East Wind set eggs to Day change in the Moon

April the 1st All Fools Day so called stormy snowing and Drifting all Day

2nd a Fine Day cut a new Waterhole seen a Large Flock of Wild Geese Flying very low Going West in the Evening Trapt a crow pulled the Tail out of him and let him go Got a Muskrat that was running on the ice set 2 Traps for the Fox as he was Last night in the Barn yard Williams in the Sugar Bush Drawing Wood to the camp Great snow Banks with the Drifts of snow

3rd of April First Gathering of sap after being Tapt since Last Thursday no Gathering till to Day 2 Cranes and a Flock of Ducks Going West the cranes seems Bewildered or Lost Gordon and I to the Bush Gave them the Rigging for the Bush Chains hooks Trammels 2 Barrells to Day 2 Pails Hammer
