28th a Fortunate Day all the Children went to the Sturgeon Island a Great Lot of Geese and Ducks at the East end of the Island Found a Grose Egg on the North East end of our Island

29th Went to AJ Bakers took 13 lbs of sugar at 12 1/2 1 Muskrat 1/3 1/2 lb Tea 6 yds of Linsey 2 1/2 yds of Cotton Thread Tobacco 1 lb nails matches called at John Hamiltons got some of the Earley Roses to Plant and some of the Goderich and a Bag of Long Johns Bought of J Grant 1/2 Bushel of Lime 10 cents AJ Baker Measuring and weighing his stock the 3 Viponds there Nicholsons Putting up their Barn on John Summers's Place I got another tub from AJ Baker to put the Lime in Y Camerons Daughter Poorly William Gathering sap for Vinegar But as I cant Furnish him with a Barrel he is Going to make Mollasses made 20 lbs of sugar by Boiling the Mollasses over
