very unwell this morning at the Potatoes {illegible} 3 People passed close in a Boat 2 men and a Woman and a Dog and tommorow the Boat Passed up this morning with I think one of the Salemeaus in it

25 Went around the Island Found a Bottle the Renaud Began turning Back from Cornwall the same Day and stopping all night at Lancaster went to the head of the Island took home a Load of Wood heavy Rain and wind got all wet Pairing apples at night

26th Cleaning the stove pipes cleaned the onions yesterday 5 Bushels of Potatoe onions and 1 1/2 or 2 of Top Onions Drawing wood With the Horse the first time I put harnefs on him Drew 3 Jags of Marsh hay took the Birch Log up on the Bank the Boy Towed Down a Raft

27th Gathering Grapes and Cranberries a Good Deal of shooting evenly some the Mice very Plenty now

28th Went with the wool to Mrs Rose Bought  (6 Windows of Glass 18 cents 1 lb of putty 7 cents on credit) 1/2 lb of Cut Tobacco paid matches  paid  Mrs Summers 10 cents for a Treat I had on the 14th  Mr Spinks and I Fishing Perch at G Renshaws for a 15 Gallon cask for Mrs Summers Movedon the Front hunting Kenneth McDonald poorly A Fine Day Henery Bosell Getting Timber afloat

30th Fixing Glafs in the Windows High West wind Gordon and  I went out for a Pine stick took it to the sturgeon Island
