9th Went to Williamstown Brought 1/2  Barrel of Pickled cucumbers & cranberries to Ellen and Doctor Shaver Apples Onions heard the Williamstown Mills were Burnt about 2 Weeks ago Angus in Cornwall the Ruen Raised the River at Williamstown and in the Lake

12th Came notice train Williamstown Got  From Ellen Tea Tobacco soap Bottle of Whiskey soda sweetys Rice Got a Peice of Pork Got the Peice of Pork from Mary Tea shot From Allen {illegible} Bill Morrison Mr Wood nar the Lighthouse stopt on the squaw Island Bill and Mr Woods The L Renaud went Down towing something Like a Raft acrofs into the channill From the South side near Rankins Bay hard Frost and ice Last night set some Traps
