8th Went to Summertown seen George Renshaw at Hamiltons putting out Manure Bought of Vipond & Bro 1/2 H T 5 cent 1 Box Matches 20 on Credit 85 cents 2 Darning Needles 2 cents paid Got my Boot Fixed 5 cents Gordon not well Putting up Manure

9th Went to Williamstown Brought 1/2 Barrel of Pickled cucumbers & cranberries to Ellen and Doctor Shaver Apples Onions heard the Williamstown Mills were Burnt about 2 Weeks ago Angus in Cornwall the Ruen Raised the River at Williamstown and in the Lake

10th Hugh Anns Birth Day took Dinner at Ellens
