13th a Fine Morning Calm got the Boat out Gordon and I to the head of the Island so as to take Granny Rose acrofs to Hamiltons Island came Down and Got Mrs Rose Ready so we put her acrofs to Hamiltons Island Just had time to come Back as the wind Raised high from the West Mrs Rose got a Tumble as she was going up the hill at Hamiltons Island Gave here an order on Viponds for 2 Dollars Gave her a Book of sermons a Gimlet some envelopes

14th a Fine Day But Windy some Full moon a change of high south Wind Set a Trap for a muskrat on the Pitt Point shot an Owl shot a squirrel scrubbed the House Hugh Ann and I not much snow on the Ground

Sunday 15th a Fortunate Day Gordon Got a Muskrat we set for him yesterday Fine high Wind

16th Baking sawing Wood

17th Went to the Pitt Point took 2 iron Bolts home that I Found in a paddle of a Steamboat

18th Putting up Boards at the End of the House Fixing up Fat Pine in a heap

19th a Fortunate Day Baking

20th a Fortunate Day Livinia got up Drifting snowing Blowing Windy to night ice making some

21st First Day of Winter ice Making and took acrofs at the Light House and this Evening Between us and Francis Island Went to Pitt Point to see the ice not Taking at Hamiltons
