April 4th We took the old {horse?} across the brook; the ice is pretty good there {illegible}.
5 Henry and I boiled and sugared off 18 lbs of sugar tody Hnery went to the station and got his boots today We had a {illegible} storm this morning, it snowed about 3 inches.
