April 8 Henry got four {illegible} and I got one this {illegible} Wet stormy day.

9 We got {illegible} today. Henry and I went over to the Sugar bush and gathered in the old {illegible} 24 buckets of sap. Henry and Mary were at the station yesterday. They took Jim {name?} a {illegible} of {illegible}

10 Beautiful morning the sun rose in all its splendor. We got 4 {Rats?} today.. Henry and I went to the bush and gathered 21 buckets of sap in the back bush. Boiled all day

The water is very high it covers more than 1/2 the {illegible}
