May 3rd 1873

3 Drawing dung from the horse stable all the A.M. Finished rolling the wheat at the point

4 It is a most beautiful day. {Quarterly?} meeting today. Rev Mr. Slater preached, Wallace McCrae was buried in the P.M. Rev McGill preached Louisa Phillips is very sick.

5 Drew {illegible} load of {illegible} from the cow stable and then went to plowing {illegible} the road. Coal and {illegible}

6 Pa went to the Halls to get some corn and peas ground for the horses. I sent my watch up by {illegible} to get it fixed. Plowed beside the road in the afternoon.
