April, 1925.

13 Monday. Windy and cold. Vernon and Ella did the washing this morning and Walter went to Elmira. This afternoon we went to Stanley Beuder's funeral. Walter's callers tonight - Mrs. Atkinson, Norman Albert and Kenneth & Clarence Farncombe

14 Tuesday. Thunderstorm and rain last night. Vernon dug the small square bed in the garden and Ella was raking. The men were seeding.

15 Wednesday. Thunderstorms and rain last night. Cold & windy Walter took Ella and Vernon to St. Jacob this morning and grandpa got them there. Grandma made taffy and maple syrup this p.m. Maud Eugelton, Mrs. Albert Hoss, Emerson, Marie, Addie and Erla were at Grandpa's for taffy tonight.
