October, 1925.

5 Monday. Mr. & Mrs. Lincoln Weaver and children - Willard, Mildred, Doris and Ross were here for tea.

6 Tuesday. Cold. Showers. Aubrey helped to cut corn at Elder's till about 3 oclock noon. Walter finished the manure

7 Wednesday. Cold and dreary. Aubrey helped to cut corn at Edler's all day. Walter was plowing. Ella cleaned the cellar.

8 Thursday. Cold. A few showers. Walter shipped hogs at Elmira. Ella went with him and stayed at Norman Snider's and helped her do some baking. The men took up some of the potatoes this afternoon.

9 Friday. Very cold. Snowflurries. The men finished taking up the potatoes today and put them in the cellar. Walter & Ella went to a surprise party at Oscar Schwint's tonight and had a good time Mr. & Mrs. N. Snider, Mr. & Mrs. A. Weber, Mr. & Mrs. W. Weber, Mr. & Mrs. C, Shuh, Willard and Ida Snider, Pluly and Alice Beisil and Elizabeth Webert and we were the bunch.
