| Wensday Dec 24th 1902 fair | J.W. Cutting wood. Father Choring around the Stable. Mary & I went to town bgt Coat for Mother, 900, Shoes Shoes $2.15. Slippers 4.00 1.40/.55 moccasins .25 C Slippers 90 c Holley. 05. Candies ect 70 c Woods Fair $132 got Bridle fixed. 50 c. Groceries. 100
pd Account at Mercury Office $00 and pd for paper next yr. underwear at T & D's I owe Tom $6129. |

| Thursday. 25th fine & cool | We Chored in morning and Tom and Family came at noon had Christmas dinner with us. We enjoyed it very much. We got word last night that Jos. Simpson, Uncle Jimmie had died And Funeral was to be tomorrow |

Friday. 26th cold | J.W. & I Cut wood in the morning and J. hauled in Afternoon.
Father & I went to Jos. Simpson's funeral saw Mrs Knowles and several other Friends. got a letter from Mr Jno Bell saying that he had got home safely, And that he expected that Bob would sell all right E.P. Kyma. 10th to Prince of Benton. |
