Jan 1906

Thursday 25th fine After we looked over the Stock We went to Mr McLeod's and found him at home his stock looks well he offered me a steer. for $5000 Pradamere is a good sire then we Friday went to Mr. Russels. his stock is very common. then after dinner we went to Coburg and I started for home we have sold a bull to Mr. Ritchie & took his yearling as part paid we get his bull & $75 for our's car fare 10c .10
Friday 26th fine We went to Station also to Lawyer's to see about will Lawyer is to make agreement for all interested to sign cost will be .$10.00. I paid Mitchell for Coffin ect. 5100 pd Mary 500. I sold 20 barrel rock cockerels for $2500 to O.A.C. 2500 10.00 51.00 5.00
Saturday 27th fine We did the Chores and hauled in some straw on from Stock. four loads Mr. Lowe was here and is talking of buying a bull also Mr. Brown of O.A.C. Came to see about a bull. Also Mr Meyer's, & a Friend from Manitoba. paid Harry. Wright . 150 1.50
Sunday 28th fine Mary & I went to Church in morning and Children & I to S.S. Col. 60. 15. .15 .60
Monday 29th fine We did chores & hauled in bal of straw Stack
