Thursday 7th June 1906 fine We finished potatoes in morning and then started harrowing and plowing headlands I went to see about a cow, but did not buy one yet pd Dr Savage's A.C. for Father and Mother. $2650 26.50
F Friday 8th Showery Ernest went to Tom's today I took Queen & Princess to Hasting's Bro's Crosshill to be bred to Lord Charming and also took colts along Expenses 50c Jno W. harrowing & rolling Turnip grd .50
x Saturday 9th Warm & sultry I started home about 8.30 A.M. bred Queen. Princess was not in season. I had to come around by Bridgeport had dinner & horse fed 35c bgt a cow. $36. holstein grade pd Thorp for 20 bu barley at 50c and Also pd him $12.65 for 1 barrel of molasses recd $5800 from Jno Mountain being bal on bull. 5800 .35 36.00 10.00 12.65
Sunday 10th Showery Mary & I also M.E. went to Church in morning. MaryE. Jennie & I to S.S. col. 60.15. .15 .60
Monday 11th fine I went to mill in morning took 30 bags, oats & barley I {?} bu barley extra .75c seed for lot in cemetry. 10c groceries $265. pd my $100 to Lord's day Alliance When I came home I went to Barbers and saw where barn was struck with lightening then hoed some mangels and went to see Mr Lowe off got an order for Suffolk shearling ram $30 from Jno Thompson Sardis B.C. .75 .10 2.65 1.00
