Wensday. June 27th / 06 fine J.W. Cultivated rape ground I scuffled potatoes. mangels & corn near barn & went to Station to Meet. Mr J. Barrie of Clarke P.O. Ont. Mr. B came out and bgt. "E.P. Mail boy." for $10000 I bgt ground flax. $300 3.00
Thursday 28th fine I went for meat in morning went to see. J. Henderson cattle his calves look fine. went to see fence builder & then J.W. & I scuffled mangels & Carrots. & hoed till four 30 P.M. when we went to ship E.P. Mail boy to J. Barrie. Newtonville Stn & got him loaded all right. Mary & Children went up to Tom's
Friday. 29th fine hot. J.W. Cultivated rape grd I hoed mangels.
Saturday 30th Dull Joe Fisher & Wilbert Hoenell helped us to hoe mangels and 50c Each We almost finished them. 1.00
Sunday July 1st / 06 Mother & I went to Church in Morning heard Mr Crews preach on Faithfulness in our work was all God required of us. Mary & I went for a drive in Afternoon with Children col 50 .50
Monday 2nd fine We finished hoeing mangels & Carrots in morning. and Burned off twitch and J.W. plowed headlands & started to raise drills I went to Mount Forest in Evening stayed all night at Mr Webster's. had quite a chat.
