Sunday. July 8th Showery Mother & I went to Church in morning. heard Rev Crews preach on a "wide Awake Church " col 50 In Afternoon, Tom & Family came down, & had tea with us .50
Monday 9th fine J.W. Cut hay in morning. A.W. Cleaned box stalls and bedded them. J.F. hoed some mangels I went to Hendersons & brought home E.P. Mayflower 5th & we killed & buried her. we found her heart very large & flabby, her liver very large, hard and rather blue colored on out side and hard & dark in side. A great deal of bloody water around her bowels & lungs, but did not notice any Tubercules, or any thing of that sort the fat under her skin was more like Jelly then far. We scuffled & hoed some turnips.
