| Sunday. July 8th Showery | Mother & I went to Church in morning. heard Rev Crews preach on a "wide Awake Church " col 50 In Afternoon, Tom & Family came down, & had tea with us | .50 | |
| Monday 9th fine | J.W. Cut hay in morning. A.W. Cleaned box stalls and bedded them. J.F. hoed some mangels I went to Hendersons & brought home E.P. Mayflower 5th & we killed & buried her. we found her heart very large & flabby, her liver very large, hard and rather blue colored on out side and hard & dark in side. A great deal of bloody water around her bowels & lungs, but did not notice any Tubercules, or any thing of that sort the fat under her skin was more like Jelly then far. We scuffled & hoed some turnips. | ||
| Tuesday 10th fair heavy Showers last night | I went to see about fence between Simpson place & Thurtell then went to town sold hide of heifer. $520.
got buggy fixed. 35c, paid Jessie $1000. bgt gro 10c. men all hoed turnips finished the first sown patch got harness. $250 |
