Saturday. Mch 9th fine I took train at Ottawa last night & Arrived in Toronto about 6.30 A.M. this Morning and then went to Uxbridge insected Mr Ackney's Cattle & then took train at 3.15 P.M. for Toronto where I arrived about six and took train again at 7 P.M. for Guelph, where I arrived about 9 P.M. bred E.P. Mayflower 3rd to E.P. Ringleader 3rd
Sunday 10th fine Mary E. Bessie & I went to Church. Col. 50 also Aunt Jane In Afternoon we went up to Tom's. and stayed home in Evening .50
Monday 11th fine We I went along to Hendersons in morning and weighed and took the numbers of four Ewes & helped them pare the bulls feet. When I got home Walter Hall was here to buy a bull I sold him E.P. Ringleader 4th for $20000 will ship him tomorrow.
Tuesday 12th Dull & Damp We trimmed Bulls feet and. Broke the unruly one to lead. C McDougall helped us then we shipped E.P. Ringleader 4th to Walter Hall. We also broke colts to lead. C. McDougall pd me for the tanning of his hide for by Bremner Tilsonburg. 450 I pd him. $150 for helping us with Bulls feet. 450 1.50
Wensday 13th Soft Men Chored and cut wood & got grist, ready. I went to mill with 20 bgs oats. & bgt 1065 lbs corn chop at $2150 per ton bgt Coal Oil. 72. Rice 25. Am.Sugar .10c
